What questions should you ask at a career fair?
Here are the steps you should take to prepare for an upcoming career fair.
1. Pre-register for the event Pre-registering for the event typically allows you to share your contact information and resume with companies who are hiring in advance of the fair, allowing them to familiarize themselves with your name and credentials before ever meeting you.
2. Research companies who are attending Research companies that will be in attendance to identify the organizations that you’re most interested in speaking with. This will allow you to make the most of your time. Of the companies you’re interested in, compile questions you’re interested in asking that specific organization. Recruiters will be impressed with your initiative and the interest you are showing in them.
3. Bring materials Identifying the number of employers you want to speak with will help you determine the number of resumes you need to print. Always print more than you think you will need, as employers ask for more than one copy of a resume when they are interested in a candidate. Bring business cards if you have them as well as a pen and paper to take notes as you speak with different recruiters.
4. Be prepared to interview. While on-the-spot interviews aren’t common at job fairs, they can happen. Be prepared to do a short interview with the recruiter at the event. Review a list of the top interview questions and think through how you would respond at the moment.

Stronger family bonds
What are the advantages of living in a multigenerational family?
When three generations live together, family bonds are strengthened. When grandparents are involved in their lives, children have fewer behavioral and emotional problems. Grandparents can be critically important in the lives of children with divorced families.
There are also disadvantages of multi-generation households.
The family knows all your business.
Grandparents may interfere when not needed and correct what you are doing.
There may be too many visitors in the home.
Lack of privacy and may be disagreements about how to bring up a child.
Living with others may be more difficult for grandparents and young adults who are accustomed to living alone.

What questions should you ask at a career fair?
- At a career fair, your goal is to get the information you need to decide if a company or role is a good fit for you, while also leaving a good impression that could help you get one step closer to catching that job. Here are six kinds of questions that will help you do just that.
- Ask about a specific role.
- Ask about the hiring process.
- Ask about their experience.
- Ask about growth opportunities.
- Ask about the products, services or industry.
- Ask about company culture.
